Judaica Press Prophets & Writings - 24 vol. set
This set provides the benefit of owning two sets in one, since each volume features both the complete Hebrew Mikraoth Gedoloth as well as a concise, modern English translation of the text with extensive commentary.
In addition, each and every Rashi is translated, as are selections from the Ramban, Sforno, Rashbam, Ibn Ezra, from Talmudic and Midrashic sources, and numerous other commentaries never before translated. Rabbi Moshe Feinstein, zt"l, gave his unstinting approbation to this now classic series.
These books are perfect for students and teachers who want a deeper understanding of Tanach.

The Reason For My Purchase
This set is the whole reason I found my way to Judaica Press in the first place (the other books I purchased were just the icing on the cake). This is the most accurate English translation, and includes the entire commentary of Rashi, as well as other study notes that truly bring new light to my understanding of the ancient books. Mishlei says, "Buy truth and never sell it, and wisdom, discipline and understanding" (23:23). That verse may very well have been talking about this set. It's not a cost, it's an investment, and worth every penny! Highly recommended!
